Artist's Description
A mixed media, digitally painted fanciful scene of an old building along a river with a boat dock and sleek boat tied to it. In spring and summer hues of pink, purple, peach, hold and green, with flowers planted in window boxes and along the front year, it could make one dream of a weekend or summer retreat where the sun is warm, the breeze refreshing and magical sundown and sunrise light is a daily event. This coloring, uplifting piece is actually a complete digital renovation of a photo of an old structure that was in considerable disrepair, needing a paint job and some tender loving care. The window boxes, flowers, fencing, dock and boat were all added to the scene. This piece was created for a Fine Art America "Edit This 13" challenge.
